- The student-to-faculty ratio for most classes is about 7-to-1.
- More than $21,500 in undergraduate scholarships are awarded each year through eight scholarships.
- The majority of our students are employed professionally or in graduate school one to two years after graduation.
Agricultural and Extension Education combines technical courses in agriculture and natural resources with professional courses in:
- education
- leadership development
- communication
One option can prepare students to teach in specialized areas of agriculture such as:
- horticulture
- forestry
- agricultural mechanics
- animal and plant production programs in public school settings.
Or you can explore various leadership styles within social, cultural, political, and organizational contexts and develop an interest in a cross-disciplinary approach to the gathering, interpretation, and application of knowledge about leaders and leadership practices.
